Having trained as a potter in the early seventies Gerry Mullan has had to restrict his artistic endeavours until now to small exhibitions and teaching ceramics on a limited basis due to his involvement in local politics over the past two decades.  Now free from the shackles and responsibilities of politics, he has decided that it is now time to make his work available to a much wider audience. Gerry specialises mainly in high-fired porcelain and stoneware wheel based domestic ware. He has a particular interest in all forms of Greek, Roman and African art which is reflected in much of his work as well as a penchant for Chinese style brushwork decoration.
